You are renting Five apps to ask one question.

“Who’s coming, when, and what do they need?” is one question. The software industry sells it to you as four subscriptions, four logins, four exports and four bills.

Four bills, four renewals

Four cards on file, four renewal dates, four vendors to chase when something breaks.

Your guest list lives in four places

The people who RSVP’d are not the people who booked, who are not the people who signed up. You reconcile it in a spreadsheet.

You pay for empty chairs

Per-seat plans bill for every organiser on the account, including the six who log in twice a year.

Everyone learns four tools

Every new volunteer, parent or coordinator has to be onboarded four separate times.

You pay per yes, not per seat.

An RSVP is a yes. A booked slot is a yes. A signup is a yes. A survey response is a yes. It is the same object four times over — so we made it the unit you are billed on.

0

Yeses this month

847 of 2,500 included. 14 organisers on the account. Bill this month: $9.00. Illustrative example.

  • Unlimited organisers on every plan. Add the whole committee, the whole department, the whole parent body. Your bill does not move.
  • An idle seat costs nothing. The volunteer who logs in twice a year is free, because they generated no volume.
  • One meter across all four tools. Invitations, bookings, signups and responses draw from the same allowance.
  • A hard cap you control. Set a ceiling and we pause collection rather than surprise you with an overage.
  • Under $10, flat. No enterprise call, no seat audit, no annual lock-in required.

One roll, four ways to fill it.

A roll is the old word for a register of names — a roll call, a muster roll. In Yesroll it is the single live list of who said yes, however they said it.

Invite

Send an invitation, track RSVPs, chase the no-replies. Replaces the Evite job.

Book

Publish your availability, let people pick a slot, sync to your calendar. Replaces the Calendly job.

Shifts, quantities, “bring a salad” lists, waitlists when a slot fills. Replaces the SignUpGenius job.

Ask

Attach questions to any of the above, or send them standalone. Replaces the SurveyMonkey job.

Because they share one roll, a person who RSVPs, books a slot and answers your dietary question is one row — not three exports you merge by hand.

Getting people together should not require a procurement process.

Mission

Make organising people so cheap and so simple that a school parent, a clinic receptionist and a five-person startup all reach for the same tool — and none of them need a budget approval to use it.

Vision

A world where coordination software is metered like electricity: you pay for what you actually use, the meter reads zero when you are quiet, and nobody is ever billed for a seat that sat empty.

What we will not do

No per-seat pricing. No feature held hostage to an “Enterprise” call. No charging you more because your organisation grew but your usage did not.

How we will stay honest

The meter is visible in the product at all times, the definition of a yes is published in plain language, and you can cap your own spending.

One plan. Under ten dollars.

Every plan includes all four tools and unlimited organisers. The only thing that scales is volume.

Exactly what counts as a yes
One yes = one distinct participant who has affirmatively responded to one roll, within one billing period.

Deliberately generous and deliberately simple: a person on a roll is one yes, no matter how many times or how many ways they act on it.

Counts as a yes — once

A participant becomes billable the first time they do any of:

  • mark an RSVP as attending, or maybe if the organiser enabled it
  • confirm a booking on a time slot
  • claim a shift or an item
  • submit an answer set to a roll's questions

Never counts

  • Declines. You should never be penalised for a no.
  • Page views, opens and link clicks. Not an affirmative act.
  • Invitations sent. We bill on response, not on reach — this is the whole point.
  • Reminders and follow-ups. Same participant, same roll.
  • Editing an existing response, or changing yes → no → yes.
  • A second slot claimed on the same roll. Already counted.
  • Answering questions attached to a roll they already replied to.Already counted.
  • Bookings cancelled before the period closes. Netted back out.
  • Organiser activity of any kind. Free and unlimited, always.

Worked examples

ScenarioYeses
Invite 500 people; 300 attend, 150 decline, 50 ignore it300
Those same 300 also each book a slot and answer three questions300 — not 900, not 1,500
Survey sent to 2,000; 1,200 submit responses1,200
A volunteer claims three different shifts on one signup sheet1
The same person invited to four separate rolls this month4
A guest says yes, then cancels before the period closes0

The last two lines define the boundary: the roll is the billing envelope, not the person and not the action.Every organiser can download their own month as a spreadsheet, one row per yes, and add it up themselves.

The parts people ask about.

What counts as a yes?

One person on one roll is one yes, no matter how many times or how many ways they respond. Someone who RSVPs, books a slot and answers three questions is a single yes, not five. Declines, page views, reminder emails, cancelled bookings and edits to an existing answer are never counted. Invitations you send are never counted either — we bill on responses you receive, not on reach.

Why price on volume instead of per seat?

Per-seat pricing charges for chairs, not for work. A committee of nine where two people actually send invitations still pays for nine seats every month. Yesroll charges for the responses you collect, so an idle organiser costs nothing and you can add your whole team without changing your bill.

Does Yesroll replace all four to five apps?

For the core workflows, yes: invitations with RSVP tracking, bookable time slots, signup sheets with shifts and quantities, and questions attached to any of them. Yesroll is deliberately not aiming to match every advanced feature of a dedicated enterprise survey or scheduling suite.

What happens if I go over my included yeses?

Nothing breaks and nothing stops collecting. Additional yeses are billed in blocks of 1,000 at the published overage rate, and you can set a hard spending cap that pauses new collection instead of charging you.

How do I get in?
